Positive: The apartment matched the description perfectly – very clean, comfortable, recently renovated but still full of authentic charm and local spirit. The location is great – in a quiet, clean, and safe little street where we truly felt like locals. Everything was within easy reach. We explored the island by rental car – although the closest small parking area was often full, we always managed to find free parking nearby, next to Mdina. I highly recommend staying in the old town – it offers a genuine Maltese experience you won’t find in modern, often generic apartments by the water. This place gave us something truly memorable and authentic. Special thanks to the host – not intrusive at all, but we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. We were very happy with everything and would definitely recommend it!
Negative: If I may share a few suggestions: while we appreciated the complimentary Lavazza coffee capsules, four of them were gone rather quickly – and it's not that easy to find refills nearby. A couple more would’ve been helpful. It also would have been great to have a few laundry detergent pods available, just for convenience. Lastly, waste disposal in Malta is quite a unique system – it took a bit of figuring out, but we eventually found a suitable container nearby and managed just fine.
